Christmas is done and dusted…. Valentine’s Day is on its way!
Join us and celebrate in style overlooking Bath’s most romantic vista: Pulteney Bridge and weir.
On Valentine’s Day, in addition to our normal breakfast menu we are also offering a Valentine’s Breakfast of smoked salmon benedict, coffee, Prosecco, and chocolate-dipped strawberries for £25 per couple (Saturday 14th February 10-11.30am)
Treat your loved one to a three course evening meal (including a sharing platter for dessert) and a glass of Prosecco for each of you on arrival. Our intimate, candlelit, family-run restaurant is the ideal escape from the bright lights of many other places.
Please note that we will be taking bookings for Valentine’s evening. Call 01225 480532 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
At Riverside we pride ourselves on our hearty home-cooked breakfasts: tasty smoked salmon benedict; vegetarian breakfast complete with bubble and squeak cakes, and American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, a true classic.
We believe that our illy coffee and Tea House Emporium Assam tea are the perfect accompaniments to breakfast, or go just as well with one of our homemade cakes. We change our selection daily but tend to stick with our classic carrot cake and white chocolate chip brownies (now made with gluten-free flour) as staples, and have a range of lemon; coffee; walnut and cinnamon cakes to go with them.
At lunch we offer an array of sandwiches served on Hobbs House Bakery bread, tasty salads, homemade beef burgers and lentil burgers that are topped with tangy Riverside tomato chutney. Our menu also boasts fish from St Mawes in Cornwall, that comes in our beer batter made with local Box Steam Brewery ale, and is served with chips and pea puree.
In our prime location overlooking one of Bath’s most photographed landmarks, Pulteney Weir, we are the perfect place to while away the afternoon with a bottle of zingy New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Australian Shiraz, Prosecco, local ale or cider. Box Steam Brewery is a firm favourite: we have Golden Bolt, Chuffin’ Ale, Dark and Handsome, and Tunnel Vision.
On fine days you can enjoy the sunshine from our outside seating area, which can be a sun trap even on blustery autumn days.
We are open seven days a week and serve breakfast from 9am-11.30am and lunch from 12 o’clock until late afternoon.
